Description

Sick of your kids breaking the remote control? I know I was. So I created this simple cover.

My tv is the samsung frame, but I'm sure other samsung models use the same remote as well. Just look at the photos to see the remote it was designed for.

This needs to be printed in TPU. The pattern on the back is from my holo plate and not part of the model itself.

What material did you use, pla? If you print it in tpu as required, it should definitely fit for the remote in my photo (I can't tell if you have the same remote)

actually, IF you printed in tpu (I don't know), did you remove the supports? I'd love to see a photo from the front that shows the full remote and cover

Printed in glow-in-the-dark tpu. Game changer. It's a cheap no-name filament from Ali express, but printed perfectly fine.

it doesn’t fit and they’re the exact same

Can you expand on this so I can understand what is going wrong. Did you definitely print in tpu? Did you remove the internal support? Since it's tpu, even with some variances in printer precision, the material should have some flexibility to accommodate for that and I don't understand how it couldn't fit.

OK that explains it. This is for TPU only as per description. So far I think everyone that has given a bad review and said it doesn't fit has printed in a different material for some reason :( thanks for letting me know

This should be made of rubber, the measurements are incorrect for PLA

Both description and profile clearly states that it's only for tpu and not for pla

As mentioned, it's for the "Samsung frame" tv. Not sure if other models use the same remote, but you can just compare yours with the photos where I'm showing both a white and a black version of the remote.

It does not match the remote's dimensions

Did you print it in tpu? It will not work in pla as mentioned in the description. It definitely matches the dimensions. I've edited the print profile name to make it even more clear that it's for TPU.

Not as is. You can cut the top off in Bambu studio (very easy to do) and then slide it in if you wanted to print it in pla. You might have to cover the hole with some tape to stop it from sliding out though. I also don't know how durable it would be, the pla might break if dropping it. If you end up giving it a try, let me know how it goes. EDIT: actually, even if cutting the front, you probably won't be able to just slide it in. I kept the dimensions tight with expectation that the tpu would flex. Gives a nice fit for tpu, but I suspect it will be too tight if using rigid pla.
