Description

WARNING:
This is an emergency whistle and not a toy! It's extremely loud which can harm the ears, so please protect your ears and don't use it near other people or animals!

Summary:

This time I was looking for a new emergency whistle and again couldn't find anything that suited my needs. So I made my own, and these are the main benefits:

it is exceptionally loud, you will hardly find anything louder in this size,
it is very sturdy,
it has an ergonomically shaped flat mouthpiece that ensures a proper lip closure,
it can easily be used hands-free,
it has a double tone that increases audibility,
it can be operated softly or loudly depending on the strength of the blow,
it has a large eyelet suitable for thick straps and even small carabiners,
it is easy and fast to print, only requires 9 grams of filament.

Very nice print - nice and compact form factor, very clean surface, very loud (I decided to test it right out of the printer, and forgot the kids were asleep because it was 23:00... my wife was not proud). Printed in red silk PLA.

I printed 3 different whistles so I could compare loudness. Out of the 3, the 2 loudest were yours, this one tho is extremely loud. I kayak alone sometimes but had yet to buy a whistle. This is the whistle I'll make a few of, one for my life jacket, hiking stick and another for my purse. Great item.
