Here is a handy item to help manage the tangle of cords in a grow tent. But can be used anywhere you have an 1/8" cord that needs to be tamed. The pictures show it in my grow tent where I use common 1/8" cord ratchets for hanging a light and hygrometer. Ive included two lengths of the minder, but the short one has been all that Ive needed in my setup. Hook the loose end of the cord into the minder first and then wind it up. Slide the minder up and down as needed.
