Raspberry Pi Zero 2W Slim Case – Snap-Fit | Screw-Optional | Updated Variants Included

This custom case for the Raspberry Pi Zero 2W is designed for versatility, passive cooling, and easy printing. It’s a snap-fit enclosure that can also be assembled with M2 screws and heat inserts if you prefer a more secure fit. Each design allows access to the SD card when assembled. 
 

What’s Included:

1. Original Model ("Old profile")

The original slim case design has a clean, compact profile. Still available for those who prefer the classic look.

 

2. Raspberry Pi Zero 2W Slim Case (ver. A)

Updated version of the original case with improved vent patterns on both the top and bottom parts to allow better passive cooling.

 

3. Raspberry Pi Zero 2WH Slim Case (ver. B)

Designed specifically for boards with pre-soldered 40-pin headers (Zero 2WH). This version includes:

  • A deeper bottom part to fit the soldered pins
  • A taller top part to cover the height of the soldered pins
  • Full access to the GPIO pins after assembly

 

Assembly Options:

  • Snap-fit by default – No screws or glue needed
  • Optional screw mount – Each version includes two bottom part options:

     • One with holes for M2 x 8mm screws + heat inserts

     • One without holes for a clean, screw-free finish

 

Print Settings (Recommended):

  • Material: PLA
  • Layer height: 0.2mm (Strength profile)
  • Nozzle: 0.4mm
  • Walls: 2 loops
  • Top/Bottom Layers: 3
  • No supports needed
  • All three parts are pre-arranged on the same build plate (ideal for multicolor prints using “by object” settings)

Want to tweak the model? STEP files are included, but only for the legacy version of the case.
