Description

Update 1: Someone requested that I make 3D printed rod to use instead of a dowel. I have updated the print profile and the STL files to include the new file for the rod.

I took the original model and scaled it up to actual size and cut a few pieces to make them easier to print. The whole gun can be printed on the A1 Mini at once, but you can use any printer. You will need glue, and some tape (for the handle) Look at the pictures for assembly instructions. Enjoy, Wastelander!

Great freaking model!! Great Freaking Model!! So I actually printed the bullets from a ghoul gun print. 6 bullets print in 40 min. I knew they wouldn't fit as is… so I downsized to X - 9.50mm Y - 9.48mm Z - 64.6147mm.. It's actually a tweaked 38 special, from here: https://makerworld.com/en/models/499699#profileId-414485 All I did was add a firing cap, change the width overall, and then elongated the nose. I can't share it, unfortunately, as the original model license doesn't allow it, but that doesn't stop you following the directions! The shell casing I made 9.1mm wide, and the rim 9.3. I might go 9.4-9.5 to stop it sliding inside (I had to glue them) if I printed it again. The bullet nose I made 12.25mm long and the firing cap was just simply inner-extruded then outward-extruded with a negative value. Thanks!

printed great and it is awesome that its all on one plate, the photos are only glued together no post processing yet which goes to show how good this file is; all on one plate, prints fast and prints well. would be great to add a 3inch rod to the print rather then having to find an alternative like a wood dowell or an old paintbrush.
