Description

This is a toy Spatula for a Children to play with.

A Spatula is like a spoon, but with the scoop part flattened out so that it resembles a very tiny plate on a stick. Spatulas can also be identified by a series of small holes in the flat tiny plate part which render it useless for eating soup. These holes are the result of multiple impalings, a practice performed on many Spatulas.

Although the true reason for the impalings is a mystery, it has been suggested that the Spatula was invented by Dracula in order to trick people into attempting to cook omelets, pancakes, and other flat foods; a task which is obviously impossible. By impaling the Spatula, superstitious manufacturers hope to prevent the utensil from rising from the dead to prey on the living.

Although I suspect this explanation for the multiple holes is unlikely, it is nonetheless recommended to keep the Spatula separated from other toy utensils and stored in a locked container of garlic.

Also, as this is a toy spatula to be used by children, I have taken the additional precaution of putting the word "spatula" on the handle so that you, or your child, will be able to quickly identify the utensil if it is discovered outside of its container or attacking a slotted spoon.

Finally, this toy spatula is a toy, and should not be used to prepare or consume real food, especially soup, as it would either melt or awaken the vampire within.

Enjoy!
