Boost Me (for free)

for support

The ultimate solution for your cable clutter!

This robust and cleverly designed holder brings order to your home, office, or workshop. With this two-part system, you can effortlessly mount your power strips or other items on any wall, under a desk, or on cabinets

Why you should print this model:

  • Size 100mm x 40mm
  • Flexible & removable: The power strip can be easily and quickly removed from the wall mount at any time – ideal for cleaning or if you temporarily need the strip elsewhere
  • Versatile mounting: Designed for mounting with screws or double-sided adhesive tape (e.g. 3M VHB)
  • Universally applicable: The open design fits most common power strips. Simply measure your power strip to ensure the best fit!
  • Efficient cable management: Hide unsightly cables and prevent the strip from lying around on the floor

Printing instructions:

  • Recommended material: PLA or PETG for additional stability
  • no supports required

I found the design daring and the result looks accordingly Printed with a new roll of PETG and without changes to the print profile on A1 mini

It's a shame it didn't work out as you imagined. The provided print profile is for printing with PLA. For PETG, you may need to change some settings. The attached photo shows the model immediately after printing with PLA, still on the print bed of my printer. As you can see from the photos in other reviews, printing works without problems, even if you consider it a "risky construction"

Replying to @Mellowman :
The same thing happened to me with Bambu LAB PLA :-( Update: I printed it again, this time with supports. It worked then

Very nice print! And smart solution 👍🧠🙂 Full marks from me! 5/5 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 However, it gets quite tight when the plate that is supposed to sit on the socket outlet needs to slide into the base plate (I have deliberately turned the plate that is to be glued onto the socket outlet so that you can see a little better how/why it gets tight) I am using countersunk screws. I cannot reduce the dimensions as the screw would then go through the hole. I have tested 3-4 different screws, drywall screws, wood screws etc all with countersunk heads. It is possible to get it in place, but it's tight. Perhaps it could be adjusted in some way? Maybe with a slightly thicker base so that a slightly deeper countersink can be made? Or maybe a small groove of about 1mm in the "rail" that slides into the wall bracket itself? What do I know, I can't do this drawing and CAD stuff. I'm glad there are people who create all these things you didn't know you needed until you saw them haha

Hi! I absolutely love your design it works really well. I’m wondering if there would be a possibility of getting a commercial license to sell the printed versions. Could you let me know if that’s possible?

This is a very nice model. I shrinked the x-y axis to fit my own purpose.
