Made a golden spatula from SpongeBob SquarePants, using gold silk material and regular black PETG material. The feel is pretty good. I used a pin structure, but my spatula head and handle are a little loose. I recommend using glue to secure them.

id recommend try printing it with glue on the bed first. Not sure if youve done it before, but just get your regular elmers glue stick and apply a good coat on the bed. If you do that and it still doesnt work, try printing each part separate and not all at once. Those 2 together should hopefully fix the issue.

I did have to print twice, it printed just fine with supports turned on, however I did snap it in 2 places trying to put it together. As it was a gift for a 10yr old, I increased the infill to 50% and on the second print I scaled up the Black handle by 2% in size so that it would all piece together without force, and the second print worked out great.

had couple issues connecting the spatula arm to the handle. It required some sanding and torch to get the fit just right. Overall I’m extremely happy with the print.

I loved this model for my SpongeBob cosplay. The spatula handle was a bit tight and I broke the piece by accident (even though I printed it in PETG), but regardless, the model is perfect
