Description

I wanted to print an Enterprise from the original Star Trek series, but I couldn't find one I really liked. I ended up remixing Enterprise_Original_FDM from Solid_Alexei's collection of ships. He had already split it for printing without support, but I added pins and holes to the parts to make it easier to align the pieces when gluing. I also scaled it up to be approximately 1:1000 scale.

I added colors similar to coppertop_01's Enterprise for use with an AMS. I printed that model as well, but the large pieces of the saucer warped and didn't glue together well without filler and paint. This version doesn't have that issue.

To make the model “pop”, I created some graphics for the saucer, engine nacelles and main hull. I printed them on clear waterslide decal paper. The PDF file can be found in the Documentation section. Print it at 100% for the 1:1000 scale model.

09-26-2024 UPDATE:

I added a model stand for displaying your Enterprise. See the photos for how it goes together.  I used a bit of glue to secure the stand pieces. The model can sit on the stand without glue. There are two versions of the base: a raised design version for single color or manual color change and a flush two-color version for use with your AMS.

12-18-2025 UPDATE:

As several users have mentioned, the “Hull_Mid” part was missing two of the alignment pin holes. I've updated the print profile to fix that, and I've also uploaded a corrected "Hull_Mid v3.stl" file.
