Description

Looking for a unique way to do desserts at your wedding/bridal shower? Look no further. Here we have the Wedding Cookie Hanger. This design involves a cute way to present the dress-shaped cookies hanging on a clothing rack.

For one clothing rack assembly, you will need the following:

(2) frames

(5) connecting bars

however many hangers you want

The clothing rack can be assembled by press fitting the notches on the connecting rods into the notches on the frames. The fit is tight enough to hold together, so glue is not necessary. Under heavier loads, the assembly may rack slightly but when this model was fully loaded up with (6) large cookies, it did not rack at all. If you are looking for that additional sturdiness, you could put a small dab of super glue in the joints.

There are two plates for this profile. The first plate is (1) complete rack. The second plate is (5) hangers. I used the textured PEI plate and that added the textured finish on one side of the models which the bride liked. These were printed with blue gray PLA. I used a little bit of glue on the bed on the outsides of the lengths as the geometry of the models causes the very ends of the pieces to warp off the bed slightly.

These prints were used at my sister-in-law's recent bridal shower. I printed (24) of the frames, (60) of the connecting bars, and (84) hangers (had extras), for a total of (12) complete racks with 6) cookies on each. She loved them and a lot of the guests thought they were really cool, and some people even took them home with them.
