Description

A completely printable gold panning trough that can be assembled freely according to the circumstances.
It can be taken apart for transport and extended as required.
All parts were printed on a P1S. In order to be able to release the support more easily on the funnel at the beginning of the trough, a separating layer with PLA is recommended.

I just got back. Tried sluice out with 2 small riffle and 1 medium riffle. First off it catches black sands great. Ran about 3G of classified dirt through it and definitely caught gold!! My only suggestions are... The fins in the flare need to be removed. The joints between sections could be tightened up and the clips need to be beefed up to hold sections stronger. I mention this because I am a seasoned gold prospector and have a few other sluices to compare. Thank you for your design!!! A+

Hello. I intend to print this. How did it fare in testing; does it effectively separate gold from stones? Is it worth printing?

I printed in PETG and have used this twice now with great results but also painted the riffles with chalkboard paint for 2nd use. I ended up using my woodburning kit with a flat tip to weld all the seams together. I also took this file and scaled it down using the fine riffle section to make a smooth water cleanup sluice to refine concentrates. If you do print this out and use it I highly recommend classifying your material down to 1/8th inch for best exchange.

już drukuję w PETG taki jaki pobrałem od autora. Napisałeś 1/8 cala, to znaczy, że miałem te elementy zrobić mniejsze? Skąd pobrałeś takie imadło do tej rynny co pokazałeś na zdjęciu?

Printed nice and strong. I printed in PETG. I got to try it out yesterday. I didn't catch my tailings and test them, but I did find gold. I modded the flare to remove the bars. I was able to run larger rocks through with no issues. The 1 tray I had issues with was the dual riffle tray. For some reason I was getting rocks stuck in the ruffles. It also needs a better way of locking the trays together. The clips don't work well. I was still pleased. BOOSTED!

Hello, I have a question: can it be printed in PLA? Also, does anyone know which kit they would recommend for me to start? I haven't found anything yet, but I have some experience I have a book about stones but I don't have anything to break stones with, nor a professional tray or anything similar, only a hammer and a chisel, but the hammer is a normal one, not a sledgehammer What do you recommend? I need to know this, thank you if anyone reads this

greate job, do you have any information or tips regarding degree of angle?

angles are about 8° to 12°. what you are asking doesn't have a solid answer. Proportional Velocity is what you need to look into for best understanding angle and flow. I'm an avid sluicer/panner and can say it is not the same from one spot on a river to another as for water flow... volume and speed. My suggestion is to youtube goldhog mat setting up as these are very similar to their sluice mats. hope this helps

PLA works but not as durable. https://a.co/d/1GRpVxG Amazon has hand rock crushers. There are also small mechanical options for use with an angle grinder etc. Look up Jeff Williams on youtube!! He has a wealth of knowledge!

Hello. The product is very nice, but there's a problem. The gears on the parts are facing backwards, the weir gears are facing the wrong way. Can you fix this? The weir gears should face against the direction of the water flow, but this weir gear is facing in the direction of the water flow.
