Printing

• straight forward lay them flat on the face
• PETG, ASA or ABS recommended
• print them with the BBL Standard or Strength profile
• no supports, brim or anything needed
• concentric top and bottom layers recommended
• ironing of all top surfaces optional (takes ages)
• you need one of each piece

FAQ

why did you remove all the holes?

Because i don't need them - i use filament clips and avoid sticking the filament though any holes. it bends the filament and this can cause problems if you feed it though PTFE couplers - also, the whole frame of the spool is full of hexagonal holes :)

if you still want an original spool with more holes, there are plenty of remixes of the original spool on printables which are compatible

how much lighter and faster?

with BBL 0,2 mm Standard profile you'll save about 25 % of material
