Description

This was my first OpenRC Tractor. It's based on the Ebro160d/MF165.

After many years since first version, I still think this is a great model, so I improved some parts of the MK2 and released MK2.4. They are not huge changes but they make a difference:

  • Redesigned differential. Say good bye to your grinding problems!
  • Motor panels with more detail and realism
  • Easier cable management
  • Ackerman style steering
  • Standard servo steering! (micro servo optional)
  • New 3 part rims (beadlock style), so tires can be printed in any filament, flexible or not.
  • Optional rim look
  • New realistic rear arms (TEA20 style)
  • New rear center arm support to avoid it from falling
  • Easier motor panel assembly

Instructions

  • Parts with MK24 in the name are new or modified. List of changes can be found here.
  • List of hardware here.
  • If you have already printed MK1 or MK2, you can print some files and upgrade to last version. And if you haven't printed it yet, It's about time! :)
  • I'm recording new assembly videos of this MK2.4 version. I'll release them as soon as they're ready!

I completely changed my website to make it easier to access to all OpenRC Tractor designs. (currently migrating).

If you like my tractor, please click "like", follow me and post some pictures. This will help me to keep printing! and follow my youtube channel to stay tuned to new videos!

You can also support my work with a coffee or a tip!

Thank you!!!

Just sharing a new picture from today. I wish i had som softer tires so it could keep up with our crawlers off road.

That looks fantastic! Yeah,it's not a high performance tractor but it's really fun! Sometimes I wonder if it would be worth it to try a high performance tractor. But it would be more expensive and I would have to use parts from crawlers...

Perfect projekt to build with my son. I decided to use a 380 motor that i allready had. Designed a 2 stage planetary gear box. 25:1 and it works just fine.

Having just completed project MF188, I've equipped it with a roll bar and weight carrier including weights based on a real-world model, I would share the roll bar and weights if there is interest

Sorry but I don't understand your problem. From the picture I see you alrready have connected the steering to the servo. Do you mean you can't find the rods? they are M3x35mm and you can find them in the links of the hardware list.

A truly delightful project. Both construction and operation are immensely enjoyable. My godchild is always thrilled when the tractor is deployed 👍🏻

Another fun print and build to go along with my TEA20. I added the MF65 mod as well.

This is a superb model to begin with, easily modifiable—I personally altered the body—and incredibly fun to drive I adore it
