Print quality was fine, however when installed in Makita Tracks, it leaves a bit of slop and is not a tight enough tolerance. As a result, you must make sure you are pushing the square towards the track to get a true 90 degree angle.

is the current version the last version that should be fitting on makita tracks?

it should fit on makita tracks with a tight friction fit so it shouldnt move at all

Printet this one af I had a project where this would be handy. Overall it looked nice. Fitting was quite easy and I think it fitted well to my Festool FS1400 track. I checked for square and it looked very nice. After a few cuts I measured for square again - it seems fine, but the track did not quite align with my measurements on the subject I was cutting. I then noticed that the printed square had room for a little wiggle, not much, but enough to be in 90 degrees when the cut was 60 cm long or so. I am considering if adding small bolt or two underneath will apply enough pressure towards the the track, securing it or be square.

is this a newer version of the track?

No, orginal version. The Dewalt track is different than the Festool, it is symmetric, with the channel in the center. I printed this to check and can confirn it does not fit the Dewalt style track.

Every track saw review I read and watched mentioned the DeWalt track is different from the Festool/Makita profile.

This is a useful model. It fits my Makita track, but is a bit loose. I'm not sure if I'll try to adjust the model, but it's not useful as a square with the current sloppy fit.
