Description

Hello there crochet friends

This is a crochet blocking board I made first for my girlfriend and want to share it here with you.
Here are the facts:
- full size is 200x200x20mm
- blocking size is 14x14 with a hole distance of 14mm

what will you need?

since I tried a few variations of printed rods it isn't rly the way you want to go since the tend to bend/break or getting way to massive. I found the sweet spot in 3mm(0.188inch) steel rods you can get probably everywhere in the world on Amazon.
My recommendation is to get them at least 100mm/4inch long.

what I need to take care?

You want a tight fit of the rods but they should be removable with ease. Since also these rods have mostly a bit tolerance and small holes like this have the same with your printer and/or your filament I made 3 versions. They go from 3.1mm till 3.3mm. I also made a diameter test block that can be printed within ten minutes so you can try the size before the longer print of the board itself.

If there is any question regarding the board feel free to leave a comment
