Difficult to glue together, be lined up perfectly and glue not getting squished out to visible surfaces. Not a fault of the model, I just need a larger print bed than the A1. I made my own display stand using The One Ring as the base.

Congratulations on the piece! Could you send the support with the ring? It's great that the theme also includes the ring! Thank you in advance 😉

Excellent work! I'm currently printing the complete armor for Halloween. I scaled the helmet to fit. Great result and it fits perfectly! Thank you for the file!

I just got the helmet printed and looking to do the whole thing for halloween too! Good luck! Im nervous about sizing everything else and wasting a lot of filament on bad pieces, never done this before

Hi! From where to where did you measure on the model and your head? Did it take many tries? I just measured from ear to ear and tried to find the correct places to measure on the model. The original is way too small at least (I printed ~10 first layers to try it on)

I’m also looking to do this for a costume, how do you recommend scaling it?

Fun model, but I did have to make some tweaks to the inside to remove the jagged pieces that would have cut into my poor noggin.

maxed out my print bed (X1C) and it fits my big 7 5/8 head. Super glued it together to hold and then used a soldering iron to fuse the parts together on the inside. Bondo, sanding the seam, primer coats, some hammered metal spray paint and silver rub-n-buff, came out amazing!

looks great when done so I'll give you 4 stars I had no issues gluing it not sure what that complaints about but honestly horrible design parameters I expected more than a kitbashed design. The pieces feel like they're barely connected a ton of the model piece ends are protruding out the interior waiting to stab you. Just wish it wasn't so "slapped" together Expect lots of post processing to clean it up but when done exterior end result looks great enough for 4 stars regardless of my complaints ty for the effort an the upload

the two halves do not match so they can not be glued together. poor model quality, lots of spikes and corners to remove inside the head

Pretty sure I did this the hard way and had to use normal supports on both because tree supports wouldn't t fit on the plate but I test fitted and it fits great, might add a bit of comfort padding though but I'm not too worried as it's just going to be a display for now after I get it together and painted etc. This is the first large thing I've printed on my P1S and I think it turned out great I'll have to take some photos, I did break two of the smaller parts on the crown getting the supports out but it's an easy fix. I plan on printing the rest of the set out eventually also. Thanks for sharing

I'm trying to print it as well but I do not have a PC to resize it, can you please tell me what is the circumference of the helmet I don't want to spend too much time and filament just to realize that it doesn't fit me. thank you in advance.
