This simple yet effective clip is designed to hold the safety bar (dead man's switch) of gasoline lawnmowers in the "On" position. Anyone with a large garden knows the problem: constantly holding down the lever eventually leads to hand cramps. Or perhaps something is in the way, and the lawnmower already struggles to start. Simply flip the lever to engage the lock.
Features:
- Size: For approximately 28mm handle diameter
- Ergonomic: Relieves hand muscle strain during long mowing sessions
- Universal: The design is intended to fit most common handle diameters and levers
- Quick: Can be attached and removed in seconds
- Visibility: Its bright color (e.g., orange) makes it difficult to lose in the grass
⚠️ Safety Warning: Use at your own risk. Please note that the engine will no longer automatically stop when the handle is released. Only use the lock in open areas without obstacles or children/animals nearby. Remove the clip immediately if you leave the mower unattended!
Print Settings (Recommended)
- Material: PETG or ASA (due to UV resistance and flexibility; PLA might become brittle under stress and heat)
- Infill: 70% (Gyroid for maximum stability)
- Walls: 3–4 for additional spring action stability
- Support: Not required (depending on orientation)
