Goathead/Sheephead/Schafkopf Money Box

I needed a portable and secure way to transport all my Goathead/Schafkopf money, instead of having to lump around plastic bags with money. So i created this. Goathead/Schafkopf is a card game from Bavaria, often played with money.

It holds up to 37.1€ in coins and has an additional ~5mm below the money insert to store more coins or banknotes. I also added a white fabric into the top, so that the coin don't rattle around as much, but this entirely optional, the coins won't fall out at all. The 2 cent coins i use as “Leger” or “Haus” to avoid confusion with other coins (These terms are just part of the Schafkopf game). The gray peg is just to be able to lift up the insert.

How to print?

No supports needed.

I used 3 different colors of PLA.

You may need to flip the models around to lay flat and print optimally.

The TPU buffer is optional and can be used to avoid some coins falling out in the case.

It requires, you guessed it, TPU or some other flex filament.

To get it flexible enough i used 2 walls, 10% gyroid infill.

Additional Material needed

For the tough box you will need 6 M3x20 screws.

If you want to use the TPU buffer you have to glue it in place with something, i used superglue.
