Description
I purchased a Sabrent 4 Port Hard Drive Enclosure for more than 60% off on ebay, but it does not fit larger 15MM 2.5 Drives. I decided to make a new enclosure that supports 15mm hard drives.
This is version 1.0, and only has the base and middle section. The original unit has a fan that fits on top, but this is not needed as the fan is not only noisy, but pushes very little air. Hard drives are fine without the cover and are air cooled without issue.
This uses the original 6 screws and front buttons from the DS-4SSD unit to secure everything together. 2 screws will secure the PCB to the base, and 4 screws to secure the middle section to the base.
