Bass Bandit Topwater Fishing Lure

Description
Floating top water popper “Bass Bandit”. I designed it to catch Large and Smallmouth Bass but Northern Pike and pan-fish hit it as well. Realistic bait-fish appearance and easy to cast. The mouth is cup shaped to provide a splash or pop sound when jerked. I also put 3 bb’s in the 2nd cavity from the front for low vis fishing situations. I like the rear treble with a flash feather teaser for finicky fish. Length: 3 ¼ in. Weight: ¼ oz.
The four paint templates will have to be mirrored to print both sides. I’ve included Perch, Crawfish, Fire Tiger and Fin paint templates.
Print settings: I use the same settings for both the lure and the paint templates.
I like PLA but I suppose ABS or PETG will work.
0.16mm quality.
15% Gyroid infill with 4 walls (it won’t float correctly with more infill).
Support on build plate only. Be careful removing the support for the templates. It can be challenging.
Things you will need to complete the Bass Bandit:
Paint
Gloss enamel (several finishing coats)
Waterproof glue
Sandpaper (optional)
Steel wire to run through the lure and create the 3 loops in the front, back and bottom of lure
3 bb's
3 snap rings
2 treble hooks
I’d say good luck, but you won’t need it if you take the time to print and paint the Bass Bandit. It’s an awesome lure!
