Description

Unlimited Train Bridge - Duplo compatible V2 update

This set of angled Duplo Brick compatible train tracks, use conventional straight tracks to build a high bridge and drive up steps and stairs.

As many straight rails can be placed between the printed "start" and "end" rails. This means that any height can be overcome.

The gradient is approximately 16°, i.e. for each straight line the track gains 2 (angled) Duplo stones in height.

The connectors are printed separately and can be clipped in with a little glue. The “Start” uses 1x and “End” uses 2x Connectors.

Happy Printing! And thank you for supporting me with 👍&🚀

Changelog:

V2:

  • smoother start radius
  • rack on endtrack
  • optimized some tolerances and angles

the tracks work really well on straight bridges! Would it be possible to raise the border a little like the original tracks? when we use curved tracks before or after the raise the train gets off track.

When the train exits a curve and then goes uphill, the guide appears to be too low, causing the train to derail. In the curve, the train is pushed diagonally against the printed part. This could be prevented by increasing the height of the inner edge of the track. This issue occurs both at the top and bottom of the bridge, but only when there is a curve. On straight sections it works fine, likely because less guidance is needed since the train does not change direction. edit: im trying to upload a gif but i didnt succeed..

Those are fun pillars! Do you have a link? And I do see what you mean about the inner guard rails on the track needing to be higher.

Good set, I have 2 comments: 1) (as in another comment below), when the train starts to climb, it does not immediately engage the lateral "big" indentations (there's an empty space before the first element), so it can remain often stuck (the red Duplo train model has also a low back hook that tends to touch) - 2) when the train goes backwards, it starts to climb, but at the second top element (without "big" indentations) it looses grip (since the printed little fins do not have the same grip of the original pieces) - big indentations also on the second top piece could work
