Description

The SEDO 2.5 (Simple Expandable Drive Organizer) is a storage solution for organizing spare 2.5" HDD's and SSD's.

The design is filament efficient, toolless, and can be expanded by stacking drive slots to meet your needs. No AMS is required for multicolor prints.

The design is split into 3 parts:

  • Stackable Rail
  • Top Rail
  • Caddy

The Stackable Rail goes first and can be stacked onto itself to hold more drives. The Top Rail goes on top of the last Stackable Rail and also holds a drive. One Caddy is required for each Stackable Rail piece plus one for the Top Rail piece.

The Caddy has peg holes underneath it that secure it to the Rail once it's in. To remove the Caddy, simply lift before pulling it out.

Notes:

  • Make sure the orientation of the rails are correct before connecting any stacking rails as they are difficult to separate once connected.
  • It is recommended to use glue/superglue on the stacking connectors to ensure the rails to not separate when carried to avoid damage to any dropped drives.
  • The SEDO cannot be used upside down, as the caddies and rails do not secure the drives from all sides. This may be addressed in a future revision.
