Description
Updated 6/12: Angled the top brackets by 5 degrees to be flat when on the pool.
Remix of the best clip I've seen for the oval top rail on the BestWay above ground pool – https://makerworld.com/en/models/25942#profileId-383126
I'll add pics of it on the pool whenever I get around to putting it on. The plan is to put wood on top, roughly a 6x2 by 4 ft.
Drill a 5mm hole in the wood, lining up to the holes on the clamps. – I'd seal the wood (rain, pool water, chlorine, not the best for wood)
Choose the appropriate size bolts and put the bolts through the holes.
I'd put washers on the top by the bolt head just to give it more surface area but up to you.
Put a nut at the bottom and make it slightly more than hand-tight. I wouldn't crank it down unless you really up the infill, at least by the holes.
In the below required parts, please measure the board you are using first then buy the appropriate size nut. There isn't a whole lot of room for excess screw space underneath where the nut will go. They also don't have washers or nuts for this, just goto your local hardware store. Homedepot has them (sometimes), but I prefer Lowe's.
