Description
I recently watched Dune: Part Two and was captivated by the iconic Thumper.
Inspired by its design, I decided to create a functional 3D-printed replica with a twist: my Thumper serves as a unique watering system!
Here's how it works:
- Body: Acts as the water reservoir.
- Spike: Inserted into the ground, it has holes to diffuse water.
- Top Part: Floats on the water, indicating the water level inside the Thumper.

!! PRINTING TIPS !!
- Use at least 4 walls for ensuring water tightness for the body, the buoy and the spike
- The top.stl should be printed with fewer walls (2 or 3) and should be printed empty, with lighting infill (otherwise it will be too heavy and won't float)
- The parts should be printed following the orientation in this pic:
