Description

With the cassette holder being useless and the lack of cupholders in my SL500, I found this retrofit necessary. This is non-destructive and requires no modifications. The slot in the front is for sliding a phone into and you can even close the cover. Higher temp materials are essential and I made mine out of ABS.

Great idea and exactly what i was searching for. Unfortunately i need this with an open box instead of the cup holder. Do you share the STP file? i could send you some money if you want.

very good quality print. however, I can’t seem to figure out how to put it together. Any pictures or instructions on how to install it?

You'll have to remove the cassette portion from it's housing (one piece not each by each) and the rods will lock the adapter to the old housing.

Works good overall, but the bottom plate was too big. Wasn't enough tolerance for it to fit cleanly into the box, so it's just jammed in there for now. didn't need to use any of the mounting brackets or pins. Little janky but its better than nothing!
