Description

Summary

This is a remix of the excellent bit trays by swholmstead .I didn't do anything except extend and taper the base to cut down on print time and filament use. They still stack exactly the same way as the original but because of the scaling issues when importing, they're slightly smaller than the original "large" trays.

To match photo:

Print with top layer and bottom layer set to 0, wall thickness 1.2mm. Grid infill at 30% (Cura: Zigzag infill at 20%)

About a 25% savings in print time and a 20% savings in filament.

Want the base to be solid?

  • You can reslice to add top and bottom layers back (Bambu: Under strength tab, top and bottom shell layers)

Want a different pattern on the bottom?

  • Try reslicing but select a different infill pattern (Bambu: Under strength tab, sparse infill pattern). Note that you need to view the sliced preview to make sure that the infill will work, some of the infills are disconnected from each other. You want a grid or other highly linked pattern.
