Description

A 2-piece adapter to be able to use the smaller 250g spools of filament with the AMS Lite. The base has an inner diameter that fits over the AMS Lite spool holder, and further out it reduces the outer diameter to fit the smaller filament spool. The base also has a guide pin to prevent the spool from rotating independently from the adapter.

The second piece is the lid which screws into the base which secures the spool in place.

This print does not require supports.

Threads are a bit tight the first couple of times you screw the lid in. This ensures good grip.

printed very well, about to try it out with a 250g elegoo plastic spool which can't be used straight on the AMS. Will report back!

just what I needed. we’re new to this and I purchased some small 250g spools to try fun silk colors and didn’t know what to do when they didn’t fit. thank you Bambu community for pointing me to printing an adapter. printed perfect. thanks

Great, it works perfectly I modified the print strength of the screw to 60% because initially it was very stiff and tended to break, and to reinforce it I added a ring from Bambu Studio You can see the result in the photo (I also wanted to try inserting the SVG logo)

just curious on the 3rd and 4th photo your purge line looks different to mine have you changed any settings to get it like this

if you’re referring to the purge lines at the front edge of the plate, thats just how they used to be when i created and printed this model. They have changed since then.
