Designing these models is a time-intensive process, involving countless hours of testing and fine-tuning to ensure they’re easy for everyone to print. If you enjoy my work, please consider giving it a boost. Your support means the world and helps me continue bringing more fun and functional designs to life!
In my quest for the perfect filament clip, I’ve experimented with a multitude of designs, but none have truly satisfied my needs. Some clips fit certain spools but not others, some are too loose and detach easily, while others grip the filament so tightly that removing them becomes a Herculean task.
My new filament clip, however, has achieved perfection. Its universal design allows it to be used with any filament brand, ensuring a snug fit that stays put once attached. It securely holds the filament, yet its release mechanism is as simple as a gentle pull.
What sets this filament clip apart is its adjustable grip. The deeper you insert the filament, the tighter the grip. I personally prefer to push it in just one or two clicks, but I encourage you to experiment and find the grip strength that works best for you.
Important Note:
For best results, avoid printing this clip with aesthetic filaments such as PLA Matte, PLA Silk, PLA Marble, or PLA Metal, as these materials tend to weaken quickly. Stick with stronger materials to ensure the clip's longevity and performance.
