Description

A Remix of MechEng67's K-cup Dispenser with the main goal being to make iut modular allowing for many differnt k-cup dispensors to attach together

  •  makes use of 8x3 magnets to join the deferent sections as well as interlocking cones to prevent the modules from sliding against each-other
  • the lids make use of optional 6x2 magnets if you want a more secure fit ( these are the same magnets used in gridfinity so i had a lot laying around.  )
  • altered the internal geometry of the drawer to reduce chances of certain brands of cups ( those with ribbed sides) from binding
  • included a slot in the front so you can see when cups are running low
  • moved the handle locations to the front to allow for stacking of multiple models
  • included a flattened label token that you can glue coffee lables to .

*Notice* -  after having used this model daily for several months, as well as comments from other users it has come to my attention that some brands k-cups seem to be slightly inflated leading to a slight dome shape of the foil lid. this restricts the ability of the cups to travel smoothly through the dispenser under their own weight. brands without inflated lids work fairly well with the model as it is posted, however changing the tolerances to account for these brands is the one extra change i wish i had accounted for in this model so far.

I will look into changing the tolerances to allow for these brands, but in the meantime consider this issue unaddressed if you still see this message.

the one on the left is meant to sit in the bottom of the dispenser drawer, spun 90°from how you have it sitting ao that it catches the k-cups as they drop down oriented either left of right. the parts on the right is meant to have a magnet inserted into it and attach in the recess in the front of the dispenser. it let's you either attach or print a lable to it and swap them out as you switch flavors.

Do you happen to know at what layer we should pause and put in the magnets?

all the magnets were glued in after the print. no pausing needed.

Your print color matches the Keurig so well it looks like you printed the machine haha

do you plan to tweak the design to allow for "Inflated" k-cups?

probably just not sure when. it seems higher altitude may affect how much it inflates and it's been affecting me more than I would like.

At first I though the measurements were too tight. I then realised that my K-cup foil tops were expanded due to me living at altitude. A very small hole in the foil to let the air out and my K-cups fit nicely. Well done

I know this is an older model but do you think you might be able to create a left side? We don’t have this Keurig model and would love to use this stand alone with 4 total units and end pieces on each side.
