Possibly a little late - but I had the same issue.
I tried rotating it on its side at 45 degrees with regular tree supports - works great!
I enabled variable layer height too, much smoother, though does take twice as long to print.

I had a fail with this print last week, cleaned all my plates, tested successfully, and printed all weekend. I wanted to try again, but still no good. See picture. total bummer 

Der Druck war perfekt. Leider passen die Teile nicht so zusammen das alles mit einander passt. So musste man es zusammenkleben. was für uns kein Problem war. 

The print was flawless. Unfortunately, the parts do not fit together perfectly, so it had to be glued together.  This was not a problem for us.

A few notes on the profile:<ul><li>I separated objects by color: body parts, blue stuff, red cloths etc.</li><li>the head and the hat strip are the only multicolored objects (AMS) so are on separate plates from other parts</li><li>The hat strip has enabled the variable layer option in order to make the writing more clear, probably with a 0.2 nozzle would have been better but i lack one at the moment.</li><li>Depending on your filaments the pompon might be a little larger to stick on the hat pin, a drop of glue will solve the issue :)</li><li>Now the painful part: the mantle! i did a multicolor version (you can find on the last plate) that took 2h to print with a result that did not leave me satisfied (You can see it on one of the marshmallow man in the photos - right one) so in the end i decided (for the moment at least) to print it in blue (12min on the first plate) and paint manually.</li></ul>I printed on my P1S without problems using<ul><li>bambu PLA basic jade white</li><li>bambu PLA basic black</li><li>bambu PLA basic blue</li><li>bambu PLA matte Dark Red</li></ul>Happy printing and Stay Puft!!!!

I started from the AntonyLu model (https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1688862)and then made the following mods:<ul><li>replaced static limbs with joint-movable ones</li><li>removed engravings from body geometry</li><li>Added a ribbon and a pompon ball to the hat</li><li>replaced hat strip with an AMS colored with “Stay Puft” text</li></ul>
