Bicycle Two Piston Spacer
This is a spacer for bicycle disc brake bleeding. Generally, it's possible to not use a spacer, however, there will always be the possibility of the brake lever getting bumped and then requiring you to spread them back out (a pain). So, to be safe I'd suggest using one.
