Description

Experience time in stunning precision with the 3D printed Grand Seiko wall clock.

Crafted with meticulous detail and innovative technology, this masterpiece combines the elegance of Grand Seiko design with the futuristic allure of 3D printing.

Bring the artistry of timekeeping into your space with this unique fusion of tradition and innovation.

Or design your own face with the included .step file.

Now with a bracelet stand!

Make your own length of stand.

The pins for the links are octagons, with one type that is twisted to give the option for a “half” tick.

The positions I used to make the stand in the picture is as follows:

  1. Normal Link, 1 tick rotated (45 degree)
  2. Twisted Link, 1.5 tick? (45 degree+22.5 degree = 67.5 degree)
  3. Normal Link, 0 tick
  4. Normal Link, 0 tick

You need to print with 0.2mm nozzle for the dial! The 0.4mm nozzle looks blurry in real life, the 0.2mm looks sharp.

(I failed to print the GS text on 0.4mm nozzle for comparison)

Some glue needed for assembly.

Turned out great, looks great! Used a little glue to get the hour markers and GS logo to stay. Onto my wall next!

I have a modular bracelet stand available now. You can modify the step files if you want.

I printed with 0.4 nozzle, the hole is not big enough for Bambu clock component to pass through, but a sanding will do. It does look good in gold😆

ah, the hole was a bit smal for me as well. I used a deburring tool and increased the size a bit before uploading, but not enough apparently :/ Looks great in gold!

Great model, thanks for sharing. Could you explain how the bracelet stand links go together? I see there are 2 different types but don't understand which ones go where. Do some of these need to be glued in?

Thanks :) I added a image trying to explain. To get the best stand; The first link should be normal and just on tick (45degrees). The next link should use the twisted links to bend a bit more (about 67 degrees). The rest straight/flat. Basically you can do as long and tall as you want, the two types of links is to give more freedom in the links bend angle. I did not need to use glue, it was good press fit for my printer.

Thanks, amazing model. Would be nice if this had a stand to pose it standing up on a desk.

Good idea! Will make a bracelet add that makes it stand. Will take a couple of weeks due to a upcoming trip.
