Hey!

First unique design I'm posting.
Based on the logo of one of my favorite artists, Des Rocs and those slotted glasses you see everywhere.

Planning to wear these to the concert!!!

  • Notes:

I used support painting ONLY under the bottom of the "V"s in the logo, otherwise they'd droop a bit in printing.

Used Bambu slicer and the height feature to make the two tone versions with black and red.

I also use bambu slicer to mirror the glasses' arms. Handy trick

How I Designed This

Fusion 360 + AutoCAD Inventor

Used the Slot tool to make the Eyeglass rims
then used a linear pattern to make the bars
then a mirror to make it symmetric

then a bunch of extrusions and cuts to refine the shape (some fillets too)

and I had to go back to add the little arms for the glasses.

Holes for the hardware are 2mm, hardware is M2x4mm laptop screws.
