Description

A set of Mini Cansters! Previously I made a set of Sci-Fi inspired canisters. They were big, they were cool, but the smaller of the models weren't as practical because of some of the proportions. The aim here was to shrink the model overall, going from using M4 screws down to M3 screws. A number of tweaks were made along the way to tighten tolerances up even further.

Assembly and Parts needed

Hardware:

8 x M3x16mm (Or longer) screws

Assembly should be pretty straight forward. Just screw the ends on and call it a day.

When I saw the 1x cylinder was 26.25mm high, I realised that I could fit in a 24mm wide SD card. I merged in a cylinder with negative cutouts and it came out nicely. I can fit 12 SD cards in and the lid holds them in place with no more than 1mm of rattle. It is totally over the top compared to some SD card cases, but this is about the style. Nice design Josh! Thank you.
