Description

The existing Dyson accessory holder files that I found wiggled around way too much, which this version provides a fix for. The older designs have been around a long while so I figure they were likely made for printers that didn't have tolerances quite as tight as our current Bambu machines. They were functional enough but it drove me a bit crazy, so I spent way too much time making edits and printing prototypes until I was happy. Along the way I found that if you wanted zero wiggling, it was way too difficult to remove the accessories, so this is about as tight as it gets.

It's compatible with most Dyson stick vacuums and accessories, including V7, V8, V10, V11, V12, V15, and the slim variations V10 and V12.  Note that larger accessories will be too close to the wall to fit, you can use my offset version to solve that problem.

Left and right versions are included. The included profile prints fairly slowly because I found it made my Polymaker gray PLA come out shinier and darker, but speeding it up will be no problem.

The orientation of the print makes the compliant locking tab/release button a potential point of failure, so it is imperative that you use the right materials with proper print settings that ensure good layer adhesion.  Using in matte or silk PLA, printing too fast, and printing too cool can all contribute to brittleness.  Ideally, use filaments that are not brittle like PETG, PLA+, and ABS.  Regular PLA with good print quality should hold up well too, my original adapters are going strong after 1.5 years of regular use.
