Description

First of all - cradit to the original designer Chris | Printables.com who did a great job making this model.

I wanted a start and finish gates so i can set a rock crawler course outside to time my friends and me.

these came out nice and strong so wanted to share it with makerworld.

Feel free to paint it how you want it but from 10m away you do need a high contrast color combo.

you can use this gates for whatever RC activity you want - but when its windy i put a rock or two on the cone.

in the pictures you can see the scale of the finished model:

the TOYOTA is 1 to 18 (ish) and the HUMMER is 1 to 10 scale car.

the whole set takes about 3.5h to print at 0.28mm layer and the second set i printed for a friend was 0.08mm layer and it looks a lot better.

both times i used Bambu charcoal black and ivory white matte filaments.

super dope! I built a modular 143 scale fpv race car track in my basement, but I soon realized that from that perspective, I couldn't see corners approaching. I modified your flags to act as turning indicators, and a subbed out the cones for a custom snap fit base that works with my circular skid plates. looks great and works perfectly, thanks!
