Description

Panda Cub (piggy) Bank (in two sizes) for saving your coins.

The large Panda Cub Bank is 234mm (~9.2") tall, and the small Panda Cub Bank is 156mm (~6.1") tall.

Assembly instructions are provided in the attached photos. Adhesive such as Superglue is needed to attach some of the parts - as described in the photos.

Simply lift and twist the panda's head (counter-clockwise) to open the bank and count (or spend!) your savings.  If you want the panda's head to be a bit less easy to remove (to access the money inside), I suggest adding a bit of RTV silicone sealant to the channel in the panda's neck where the head attaches; this will hold the panda's head in place during normal use, but still allow it to be removed with a little bit of effort!

The provided STL files are intended to be printed in PLA (though PETG should also work fine). There are large and small versions separated into the white parts and the black parts. Supports are needed for the white parts but not for the black parts. Of course, you don't have to adhere to the traditional panda black and white colors - pink and white, anyone?

Bambu Studio 3MF files are provided for PLA.

The WHITE parts seen in the photos were printed with FilaCube White PLA with a 0.4mm nozzle at 0.2mm layer height with a 10% Gyroid infill, a Concentric top fill pattern, Fuzzy Skin on the Outside walls, and Organic supports on the build plate only.

The BLACK parts seen in the photos were printed with Prusament Galaxy Black PLA with a 0.4mm nozzle at 0.2mm layer height using with a 10% Gyroid infill, a Concentric top fill pattern, and Fuzzy Skin on the Outside walls.

printed the big one... why the gaps between the lower arms and neck piece? looks like eventually change will fall into the arm cavities? Regardless it's a good sturdy design.

Hi. Thank you for making the Panda Bank. I assume you're talking about the openings above the arms on the inside - I could have closed the top, but I figured it can hold extra coins or be used for a "secret" stash for folded up paper bills!
