Description

Scandinavian Style Watering Can

This is a modern, stylish and minimalistic watering can, inspired by some of the comercially available scandinavian designs.

Printing:

  • Your printer needs to be tuned to handle a 45 degree overhang without issues!
  • Print upside down, so that the spout rests in the print bed.
  • 0.16mm layer height recommended for better overhangs.
  • 15mm outer brim highly recommended.
  • 3 Wall loops
  • Top and Bottom shell thickness set to 2mm
  • Paint seams like this to improve the overhangs on the spout:
  • Supports are not necessary if you have bridging well tuned, but you could paint some on the underside of the handle:

design is nice, but absolute unsuitable as it leaks at the bottom. I didn't change anything on the settings.

I've just updated the print profile to have more top and bottom solid layers. Hopefully that should help with this issue! I absolutely don't expect you to try again, but if you do, please report back if it helped! I haven't been able to replicate this on my side. Thank you for your rating!

Very Good. I printed a larger version (175%) with my p1s and it came out great, i Just added some manual supporta as indicated in the description. Excellent print profile.

This print is worth it. The creator is active and fixed any leaking problems that I expressed and now its a great print that holds water without leaking!
