Description

So you have a Car or Camper or RV or Boat that does not have (enough) USB or 12V outlets?

You want more outlets but you don't want to tear up your dash or interior? But you do have a cupholder???

Well than this might be just the sollution for you!

Print out this cup, insert the outlets you like and drop it in your cupholder. Insert the 12V plug in to your existing sigarette lighter and there you go! Now you have acces to a lot more outlets than before to keep everyone happy!!!

Alternatvely you can also just run 2 wires to your car battery instead of the sigarette plug (but if you do, don't forget to put a suitable fuse inline).

I suggest these outlets: https://www.aliexpress.com/item/1005003539312499.html?spm=a2g0o.order_list.order_list_main.5.724079d2zn7C9k (make sure you select the version with the wires if that is what you want)

And this 12V plug: https://nl.aliexpress.com/item/1005007298447759.html

If you don't like soldering you can use these to connect the 12V plug to the outlet wires: https://www.aliexpress.com/item/1005005901731590.html

But you can use others as you like. I mainly chose these because they have all the wireing and connectors and fuses included but any outlet that has a 28mm diameter should fit. Standard size seems to be 28mm diameter for the outlet body and 37mm for the retaining ring on the back. The lid and cup are designed for those dimensions.

I included 2 lids. One with the letter on it and one blank so you can print it single color or add your own custom text to it.

The lid has an outlet opening for the wire, but depending on your specific cup holder and cup holder location you might want to use the opening in the bottom or the side of the cup as you see fit.

Print in PETG or similar heat resistant plastic since it can get pretty hot inside a car…

Let me know what you will be using it for and post your makes!!!
