Cat tree was starting to wobble at the top as my cat got larger. I created this support so it was no longer dependent on one screw and could brace for the cat laying on the tree unevenly. Recommend printing in PETG with 3 walls. Add 4-8 countersunk screws for flush installation (holes for screws are 5mm ID)

This is a great design and clearly very sturdy. I didn't measure my cat tree first so it doesn't fit and I used the last of my grey filament on it...I'll reprint it properly later, but wanted to give a heads up to people that cat trees are not universally sized, but the design itself is scalable.

Good call out and thank you for the post. I do mention ID or inner diameter is 65.5mm but as another option if you printed and it’s loose you may be able to wrap some material like tape or something around the post to thicken it up a bit. If it is too tight then sadly it is lost filament. I truly value the feedback!

It's unfortunately too small :'( And you're right you did say what the ID was! I just saw the other photos in reviews and was like "those look like my trees, must all be the same". So my call out was for those of us who might be a bit lazy rather than you :') The worst is that the tree I'm repairing is next to my desk which is where my calipers are...though I printed the model from my phone so I would have had to move 10 feet to get to them both

This is what makes the 3d print world amazing. I have fairly new cat tree that recently broke that I just put on the side of the house with the trash. This should make it as good as new. Thanks for sharing!

Cat tree was wobbling because our cat was getting bigger. Found this print and fitted great. print came out nicely and we dont have to wonder if the cat will fall down.
