Metric Drill/Ream holder V2

Here is a holder for a set of 1 to 10mm Metric Twist Drill Bits (0.5mm steps) and a set of 2 to 10mm Reams (1mm steps). I thought it might be useful to others. The drill bits provide a press fit for the respective shaft size, and reaming a hole provides a slip fit for a shaft.

I also added some space on the side that can be drilled out for other drills, mill ends, chaumfer bits, etc. that you may use.

Both are relatively inexpensive and work well for building printed models. And I use mine daily.

The two parts can be printed without supports. They can be either screwed together with four M2x10 screws, or glued together (with Acrylic Cement if printed in PLA, or Superglued if not). After attaching the two parts together, run the drills through the respective holes to ensure a tight fit.

On Plate 1 a color switch at layer 32 (5.16mm) allows the drill size text to be printed in a different color.
