Description
Cozy home for rent - room for a chickadee or two.
This birdhouse is designed as a comfortable nesting box for chickadees. Features: 28.5mm entrances, 140mm (5.5") floor space, lots of drainage and air circulation, easy access on back for clean out, an angrybird shaped ladder to help the young ones out. The back mounting uses two screws and is also shaped as a dovetail for alternative mounting consideration.
Supports are not needed but if you are looking for a perfect ceiling then you may want to consider. The inside ceiling is a dome which takes care of itself except for a little bit of string (not worth the added support time and material). If you have ever printed a helmet you will have experienced this.
This is printed in PLA and will be coated with a clear Krylon for weather and UV protection.
