Overview 

This product is a specialized funnel and weight system designed as an aftermarket modification for the Ceado E37S espresso grinder. It allows the user to grind precisely one serving of coffee beans at a time (single-dosing), rather than storing a large volume of beans inside the machine's standard hopper.

Core Components and Functionality

• The Funnel: This part replaces the large factory hopper. It provides a compact, targeted guide to pour the coffee beans directly into the grinder's blades (burrs).
• The Heavy Weight (100g minimum): When grinding only a few beans at a time, the high speed of the blades causes the beans to bounce around uncontrollably—a mechanical issue known as "popcorning." This bouncing results in unevenly ground coffee (Gagné, 2019). The heavy insert sits directly on top of the beans, pressing them down into the blades to ensure they are ground smoothly and consistently.
• Textured Grip: The weight fits very snugly inside the funnel to prevent coffee dust from getting stuck. Because it fits so tightly, the top of the weight is textured to provide a solid grip, making it easy to lift out when adding the next batch of beans.
