Description
Compartments for under armrest Volvo V40 from 2013. Consisting of two modules:
1. Suspended which still allows the compartment to be closed
2. Resting on the base with compartment to hide and magnetic closure. Inside there are 3 hooks for hanging keys.
What is needed?
- 2mm brass rod or other material to complete the hinges (alternatively you can use a piece of filament)
- Two neodymium magnets size 5x2mm
Procedure:
As for the first suspended piece, all you need to do is remove the two supports. For the compartment, first mount the magnets (make sure they are oriented with the right poles) and then the small handle (opposite the direction of travel). Close the compartment and insert the rod into the aligned hinge.
To be printed in a heat-resistant material otherwise you will encounter deformation especially during the summer periods. I printed two prototypes, one in PETG and one in PA-CF, both from the eSUN brand with which I have worked very well for years. ASA can be a very valid alternative.
