Finally had the crabs painted for their use as decoration and they look amazing!

The painter went with red, which I thought made them look cooked, but they did a wonderful job.

This is a beautiful model!  I have made so many of them for decoration in an under-sea event.

I flipped it over so the supports on the bottom (for a smoother look).  And tilted it up in an attempt to reduce supports, but it still a lot of supports that can be difficult to remove.

Yes, there are too many legs on the crab, making it a bit tricky to print.

This is a beautiful model!  I was looking for a realistic crab to help decorate an under sea event for children and this was perfect once I enlarged it 3-4 times (so not so miniature).

I rotated it so the support connections would be underneath to help it look its best, but it does generate a lot of support material that can be difficult to remove.  I think that comes with the realistic detail provided in this model.

I have printed so many of these I figured I should share my profile.&nbsp;I flipped the model up to move the supports to the underside where the inevitable marks will be hidden.&nbsp;The model size has also be increased (300%) to that of a real (yet still small) live crab.&nbsp;WARNING: There is still quite a bit of support material that can be difficult to remove.  As you can see in the photos, I often snap off the tips of one of the back legs.
