I love your design! I want to try and create something similar except instead of using PLA i want to use TPU to help make it water tight. I also want to find a TPU fillament thats translucent enough you will still be able to read the screen of the e-cig or hopefully find some kind of translucent material like PVC, nylon, or coated vinyl that will make a good bond with the TPU for the window to the screen. Do you think that would be possible? i think if someone would be able to create a waterproof case with a lanyard attachment for the vape it would be a huge hit especially in the summer time when people like to go out on the water!

i saw you in another comment talking about the possibility of selling this design with a apple airtag attachment. I think making a waterproof case for a disposable vape is even a bigger untapped market im from Texas and you don't know how many people i see with vapes in ziplock bags or in waterproof containers with a lanyard attached for whenever they go out on the boat or they float the river!

even if we just made the TPU waterproof case a solid color of a few different TPU fillaments without the ability to view the screen it would still be a huge hit. I also have a another idea to make it even better that seems pretty easy if we add a removable mouthpiece cover thats a tight fit to create a water tight seal around the rest of the case!

Texas is nice. My stepdaughter lives in Kilgore, TX. Those are some good ideas. Idk how much time I'd have to work on something like that in the near future, but I'll send you my .step files if you want to give it a go.

No I'm sorry. None of my friends have one and the local stores here don't sell the X. If I ever get my hands on one I'll definitely model a case.

I made 2 I have to heat them a little to pop in the AirTag, but it works perfectly. Let’s talk commercial licensing. I bet we could make some $

I'm sorry that happened. I'm wondering if it's a filament issue or design issue. I say this because my son is disabled (has meltdowns from autism) and has thrown our cases and my wife has dropped them a few times and we haven't had one break. Where did it break and how exactly?

Great fit! Gotta ask - how did you measure this to fit the geeks bars so well? I want to do the same for some other brand vapes

Thanks. I took a picture using a top down view of the vape with a ruler beside it. I then used that pic as a "canvas" in Fusion 360 and calibrated the size using the ruler measurements.
