Description

I didn't feel like always using the bottom socket. You can also buy a socket for the top from Festool, but I have a 3D printer and the tools to build it myself.

The dimensions were taken from the original cover using a 3D measuring machine.

The ducking was done with green PLA filament from Bambu Lab

For example, I installed this socket : https://www.amazon.de/dp/B09FK2Q55T

V1: with less pressure area on the back filament and ø4.4mm through hole for M4 screw/nut

V2: with continuous back surface and ø4.4mm through hole for M4 screw/nut

V3: with continuous back surface, tenon and ø2.0mm for self-tapping plastic screw
