Description

Meet your new desk buddy!

This fidget desk plant is the perfect way to bring the springtime joy indoors and right to you. Place the stems into the holes in any arrangement you like. Each of the leaves and petals are articulated for additional movement, and the vine includes a print-in-place chain. Whether you're pausing for a break or mulling over a problem, this fidget-friendly design not only boosts productivity but also adds a touch of fun to your workspace.

I am really proud of this model at this point in my 3D modeling journey but I also already have so many ideas for future improvements and variations. If you have ideas, please let me know in a comment! And if you print this design, please consider sharing your photos here. I'd love to see how they come out!

Happy Spring!

It looks beautiful. I'm having trouble printing the leaves with flowers. The other vines print fine but when I footprint the flower vine, it messes up. I new and nor sure how to fix on my Flashforge. Thank you for any advice.

Beautiful! was this modeled off of a hoya? you did a great job with the wax flowers if that is what you were going for. Can I ask what filament you used? the green is one of my favorite that i've seen. I also like the old ivory look of the wax flowers.

I love the colors too and was trying to find something similar to buy. What did you use for the flower?

What did you print this with? My top leaves only flex when I slice/print this is Bambu Lab with my X1 Carbon. If I slice/print this with my Crealty Ender the top leaves dont print to flex.

Beautifull print, but the links could be thicker. Inspired me to create my own fidget plants.

It's so good!! I used your recommended settings. The leaves were a little close together but I love the finished piece.

Bed Adhesion Issue:I attempted a thorough washing of the dish and even applied adhesive, but unfortunately, some parts continued to detach, and the result wasn't ideal Furthermore, a significant amount of filament was wasted, leading me to wonder if there's a way to print the flowers separately and then attach them with interlocking components It would be perfect
