Hand Line Fishing Spool

Simple spool to throw in your backpack or back pocket for fishing. Strap it to your bike or throw it in your bag and ride to a lake or river for some quick fishing fun. Includes a hollow cavity in the handle for storing lures, extra line, or whatever else you need.

Use the recess in the handle for wrapping with a cord. I used some 2mm or 3mm leather cord from amazon. In the pictures, the tan corded one uses a 3mm deer skin cord, and the brown one uses a 2mm round “genuine leather” cord.  Use the same 2mm or 3mm leather cord to attach a hand strap through the holes provided.

We use 10lb line, and wrap a rubber band around the line when not in use to keep it contained. In the pictures I had a keychain in place of a lure.
