Description

Low poly Lockheed Martin F-16 Fighting Falcon (but more commonly known as Viper) in clean configuration and without landing gear. This is the single-seater version and can stand in for the A or C, but not the B or D (2-seat) or E, F, or V (conformal tanks).

The scale is 1:144.

Prints in a single piece with supports, but without an excessive amount of them.

**Print vertically with tree supports.** The supports will only attach to the trailing edge of the wings, elevators, vertical stabilizer, ventral fins, and engine nozzle, so it won't look as bad as you think! **If your slicer of choice doesn't add them automatically, paint them on**

I am definitely going to make a future update with payload and landing gear options. I already modeled many weapons, pods, bags, and pylons, but I can't get them to print well yet and I haven't made the final decision on how they should be attached.

As of this posting I have only uploaded the F-16A and JH-7A models, but I already finished and printed F-4E Phantom, MiG-21bis, J-7E, Mirage III, Super Etendard, F-15A/C, and MiG-25P/PD, as well as modeling but not yet printed even more. The others are not up yet because I have to do further testing so they can print reliably with minimal support scarring (The MiG-25 elevators are easy to wreck when removing supports, for example).

The print orientation was a bit troublesome to develop, let me know if it causes problems for you.

I added a negative cylinder to the bottom of the exhaust to turn it into a keychain!

I also changed the angle and added supports to the speed breaks and exhaust.

This is a very nice 3D project. I printed several of these to give out as party favors. Awesome design.
